Meet Matthew
Matthew Isgur graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. He then attended The College of New Jersey, graduating in 2010 with a Master's of Arts in Counseling. Matthew is currently pursing certification as an Approved Clinical Supervisor of LACs. In addition, Matthew is currently pursuing certification in Trauma-Focused-CBT.
Currently, Matthew practices as a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. Matthew has worked with adolescents in direct care settings including residential treatment facilities, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, and therapeutic schools. In addition, Matthew has significant experience working in crisis management. Matthew has experience working with adolescents, couples, and families both individually and in group settings.
In addition to traditional cognitive behavioral therapy principles, Matthew utilizes various therapeutic interventions including experiential therapy, motivational interviewing, choice theory, dialectical behavioral therapy, adventure therapy, and equine assisted psychotherapy.
