Intenstive In-Community Services

In July 2015, Practical Insights, LLC obtained a contract with the Children's System of Care to provide Intensive
​In Community (IIC) Services to children, adolescents, and families throughout the state of New Jersey.

BioPsychoSocial Assessments
Practical Insights, LLC provides Intensive In Community (IIC) services on a Licensed Level to children, adolescents and families.  Practical Insights, LLC provides these therapeutic services through the Tri-County CMO, Morris and Sussex Caring Partners, Capitol County Children's Collaborative and Coordinated Family Care. 
Practical Insights, LLC completes BioPsychoSocial Assessments through PerformCare for children, adolescents and families throughout the state of New Jersey.  These services are funded through Medicaid and the NJ Children's System of Care. 
Practical Insights, LLC currently employs licensed mental health professionals to provide Intensive In Community services to youth and families throughout the state of New Jersey. 

Debra Drake is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience assessing and counseling individuals, couples, and families in both residential and outpatient settings. Debra's areas of clinical expertise and interest are working with children and adolescents who present with chemical dependency, depression, anxiety, anger, among other challenges. Debra's clinical orientation is eclectic; as she integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, structural family therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and person centered therapy techniques as appropriate for each client with whom she works. In addition, Debra recently completed training in Child and Parent Psychotherapy and specializes in working with youth aged 0-5. 

Lauren Floroff is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Lauren has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in various treatment settings including residential and school based settings. Lauren's area of clinical expertise include social emotional learning, oppositional behaviors, and family systems issues. Lauren's clinical orientation is eclectic; as she integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, structural family therapy, and social emotional learning as appropriate for each client with whom she works.

Tina O'Sullivan is a Licensed Social Worker. 
With 25+ years of experience, Tina provides compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals, adolescents, and neurodivergent individuals.  Tina supports challenges like parent-child conflict, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma and gender/sexuality concerns using CBT, EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness.  Tina also has experience using the Nurtured Heart Approach with parents and families.  At this time, with her provisional license, Tina continues to receive supervision while she works with individuals and families.
